It’s not a secret that Canada does have some very strict laws when it comes to top casinos for Canadian players. After all, any site that promotes gambling or attempts to encourage gambling is going to run into trouble with the law. That said, you can still find an alternative to paying the tax man and meeting all of those other expenses. One way that you can do this is by taking advantage of your country’s gambling license laws.

As we are all aware of Kobe Bryant and his daughter and seven others tragically passed away last weekend. It’s interesting to think about all the publicity around the tragedy when someone who was very famous passes away, yet we have unknown soldiers that risk their lives every day. Their tragedy… It’s a quick headline in the news and then it’s just an afterthought. I’m not saying the recent events don’t deserve the coverage. It just got me thinking. I think the death of a celebrity or anyone well known makes us stop and think about our own mortality, especially when it’s somebody so young, especially with his daughter passing away and the kids that were in that plane as well. I guess because we see them in the limelight, we put them in the spotlight, we get to know a side of them and we see them more than the others and we attach to them so strongly.

Jody was at a restaurant and she was ordering subs, so the sandwich artist was making it. He kept just getting her order wrong and getting her order wrong. Then, in the end, he finally stopped and said, “I’m sorry, but a famous basketball player died recently and I’m having a hard time with it.” He was a teenager. These losses make us pause and take stock of where we’re at in life and wonder if we truly are living our best life. They are a reminder to not take it for granted of how little time we have to accomplish what we want in our lives.

You can either reflect and take action or you can just let it be another tragic celebrity death. Hopefully, the reminder is a gift for us. If you’re not happy with your job, your relationship, your health, and fitness do something about it. You have control to do whatever you want in life. You don’t just have to live it and mindlessly go through it, and at the end of the day, ask what was it all worth? You hear the cliches all the time. Kiss your loved ones a little bit longer tonight. Hold them a little bit tighter. Don’t go to bed angry because you never know when is the last time you’ll see them. These cliches, they all ring true. They even write songs about it. Live Like You’re Dying. They write books about it. The Last Lecture. When Breath Becomes Air. I highly recommend both. They’re amazing books.

Let’s not only let this tragedy remind us that the future is not guaranteed. We have today, and that’s why they call it the present. It truly is a gift. Make the most of it. Please know that I appreciate you for taking the time in your day to let me be part of it. Let’s live each life or each day, as they say like it’s our last, and make the most of it every single day moving forward. Thank you. God bless.
