Get Comfortable with the Uncomfortable

By February 24, 2023No Comments

One of my favorite sayings is “Get comfortable with the uncomfortable.”

Doing something uncomfortable every day may seem like a daunting task, but it can actually be a powerful way to increase your resilience and improve your overall well-being.

When we push ourselves out of our comfort zone and try something new or challenging, it helps build our confidence and ability to handle difficult situations.

It teaches us to adapt to change and to embrace new experiences, rather than avoiding them out of fear.

In addition, doing something uncomfortable on a regular basis can help to increase our mental and emotional strength.

It can teach us to face our fears and to persevere through difficult times, which can be invaluable skills when it comes to tackling life’s challenges.

So don’t be afraid to push yourself out of your comfort zone!

Whether it’s trying a new activity, speaking up in a meeting, or simply trying something new, the benefits of doing something uncomfortable every day are numerous.

By embracing discomfort and stepping outside of your comfort zone, you can increase your resilience and become stronger and more adaptable in the face of life’s challenges.

A great example of this is taking your body to muscular fatigue or failure like we do at MaxStrength Fitness.

Not only will you get the most out of your workout and get results in a fraction of the time most people spend, you will have done something “uncomfortable” to strengthen your resilience!

If you’d like to put this to the test you can request an initial workout at maxstrengthfitness.com and we’ll help you start reversing the aging process in only minutes a week without breaking a sweat.

Until next time, be strong, eat clean, do something uncomfortable, and live well!
